Welcome to the NEXT BIG THING Blog
Hop.

What is a blog hop? Basically, it’s a way for readers to discover
authors new to them. I hope you’ll find new-to-you authors whose works you
enjoy. On this stop on the blog hop, you’ll find a bit of information on me and
one of my books and links to five other authors you can
explore!

This is the first book in the Centaur series:

Man by day, Centaur by night, Rhycious is a remedy maker who needs his
own healing.
He’s the royal physician, famous for his cures. War and
posttraumatic stress disorder has broken his spirit, preventing him from
finding true happiness. Then a direct order from the queen to investigate an
uprising forces him out of his secluded cabin at the edge of the forest.
Patience is an optimistic, good-natured Wood Nymph who works as a
mediator to ensure harmony within the Nymph sector.
Environmental pollution in the aquifer stream that feeds the
taproot tree of her heart is slowly killing her. Resigned to the fact she will
not live long, she sets out to discover the mysterious disappearance of her
sister. Experience has taught her to deny herself the love of a male, but the
gruff Centaur is different. He doesn’t push his expectations on her, only his
healing nature.
When Rhycious loses his grip on reality, he believes his
inability to control his disorder will drive Patience away. Nevertheless,
desire flares, and Patience draws him close. Kidnapping and betrayal turn their
mythic joint venture into a deadly bout.
Will their love
endure when survival hinges on trusting each other?

In this blog hop, my fellow authors and I, in our
respective blogs, have answered ten questions about our current book or
work-in-progress (giving you a sneak peek). We’ve also included some
behind-the-scenes information about how and why we write what we write–the
characters, inspirations, plotting and other choices we make. I hope you enjoy
it!

Here is my Next Big Thing!

1: What is the working title of your
book?

Troll-y Yours, Book 2 of the Centaur Series

2: Where did the idea come from for the book?
I participated in a writing class and Rhycious, my Hero in Book One, was born! This next book belongs to Aleksander, Rhy’s best friend and head guard at the royal Centaur palace.

3: What genre
does your book come under?
    Erotic Fantasy Romance

4: Which actors would you choose to play your
characters in a movie rendition?
     Aleksander:  Duane Johnson (maybe)

       Ella:   Drew Barrymore (maybe)

5: What is the one-sentence synopsis of
your book?
Lonely for love and honored-bound to his duty, a centaur soldier must choose between the orders of his queen, or fulfilling his deepest desires.

6: Is your book self-published, published by an independent
publisher, or represented by an agency?
    Published by Temple Publishing

7: How long did it take you to
write the first draft of your manuscript?
I’ve been working on the first draft for about five months now.

8: What other books would you
compare this story to within your genre?
Ha! There are no others books like mine. I have shape shifting Centaurs.
9: Who or what inspired you to
write this book?
My husband inspired me to start and finish Remedy Maker, Book One. It was his idea that I write a story, because I read so much. Because I love to read a series, I knew I wanted to write one, too.

10: What else about your book might pique the reader’s
interest?
Where else can you find aura-reading Trolls, Wood Nymphs who pop in and out of trees, shape shifting Centuars, and mindless Minotaurs?

Below you will find authors who will be joining me virtually,
via blog, next Wednesday. Please be sure to bookmark their sites, and add them
to your calendars for updates on their upcoming books!
Happy Writing and
Reading!
